These multi-function 3″ inside diameter caps are specifically designed to be used when painted or finished surfaces cannot be scratched or when less magnetic attraction/pull force is needed. Our testing of this cap shows that the magnetic pull strength of our 3 inch magnet will be reduced to approximately 150 LBS while the horizontal gripping strength (horizontal push/pull forces) is approximately 100 LBS. This cap is perfect for when surfaces cannot be scratched (due to powder coat, paint or other finishes) or when the magnet pull force needs to be reduced (moving, handling, positioning thinner sheet metal). Using this cap to reduce the magnetic pull force helps the user release the magnet much easier and with much less force. It can be helpful to use this cap when performing material handling operations with small, light or thin materials and it will be much easier to release the magnet. This cap is custom designed for ADAMAR and engineered with a specific blend of silicone and rubber to achieve a durometer that gives durability and good grip. Note: Will Not fit the PSC Safe-T-Stik Lite Tools.
